First Thoughts

It is a rather gloomy time in the UK, especially according to the media. Crime is rampant, house prices are on the slide (a good or a bad thing?) and prices of fuel, food etc. are skyrocketing. On a global scale the threat of global warming hangs over us and their are unresolved conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places.

We are often good at reporting problems or just general moaning, but what are the solutions to these problems? What should we do about gun crime, the economy, inequalities in society, broken homes etc. etc.

Over time I hope to develop suggestions to some of these problems and see how the blogging community feels about them.

We will then write a manifesto and I will take over the world :)
